A fantastic night was had by all at the Young Person’s Advisory Services (YPAS) 50th Birthday Ball.
The night was held at the Crypt Hall inside the stunning Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral with over 200 people in attendance.
The event was to celebrate 50 years of providing support to the young people of Liverpool. Reaching 50 years is significant for YPAS and the city as it allows continuity of important work done with services across health, education and social care to give young people a better life.
This year has been a true a celebration for YPAS in terms of mile stones and we’ve reached a lot in 50 years, especially in the last ten. We wanted to celebrate in a big and bold way and the ball absolutely ticked that box.
Chief Executive Monique Collier said: “What an amazing evening at the Crypt, celebrating YPAS’s 50th Birthday.
“I was overwhelmed to see and feel the togetherness at our event; strategic leads, ward counsellors, colleagues from health, education and social care, trustees and my hard working teams. I felt proud sharing the journey of the charity through its 5 decades of mental health provision.”
The final event to mark our 50th year celebrations will be 50 Golden Balloon release to take place on Friday 16th December.
