Adult education will be the focus of the latest community event at the Friday Morning Community Café, St David’s Church in Childwall.
The Friday Café, was set up using some of the Mayoral Neighbourhood Fund allocation for local councillors Frank Hont, Jeremy Wolfson and Liz Parsons has run successfully for more than three years. A monthly community event is held on the first Friday of each month.
At the next event on 3 June (10am to 12 noon), tutors will provide iPad training and hand and arm massage training. There will also be card making and lots of advice and guidance about adult learning courses.
Councillor Hont said; “You are never too old to learn and this session will give some practical advice and help for those who are looking to take up a course. There will also be some on-the-spot training so it will be a very useful and informative event in a relaxed atmosphere.”
