A new light on Croxteth Hall

Croxteth Hall can be seen in a different light next week.

Special lamplight tours of the Edwardian country house, the ancestral home of the Molyneux family, are scheduled for Tuesday 18 December (6 to 7pm, 7.30 to 8.30pm and 9 to 10pm)

The tours, on Tuesday 18 December are staged by Lovehistory the theatrical company that brings Liverpool’s fascinating history to life.

During the tours you will encounter the characters from the past who will share with you their tales and their secrets. And, the faint of heart need to be aware that there are whispers that these corridors also possess an otherworldly presence…

The tour lasts for approximately an hour and you can enjoy a glass of mulled wine for a special Christmas treat before heading home.

“It’s going to give a whole new look to Croxteth Hall as well as delving into its past, ” said Councillor Peter Mitchell, Mayoral lead on Parks and Open Spaces. “It will be an enlightening experience in every way.”
