Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson has responded to comments from Prime Minister David Cameron about cuts to local government funding.
He spoke to City Talk 105.9 breakfast this morning after the PM claimed that Liverpool is not being unfairly targeted.
Liverpool City Council has to save £156 million over the next three years, in addition to £173 million saved since 2011.
The savings are £45 million in 2014/15, £63 million in 2015/16 and £48 million in 2016/17.
It amounts to a cut of 56 percent real terms reduction in government funding since 2010.
