A Book of Condolences for Cilla Black OBE has been opened at Liverpool Town Hall.
The Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Councillor Tony Concepcion launched launch the book today.
It will be available for people to sign from 9am to 5pm every day until Friday 7 August.
People can also email a tribute to town.hall@liverpool.gov.uk and it will be added.
The flag at the Town Hall will fly at half-mast.
Councillor Concepcion said: “Cilla was an iconic figure who came from a humble Liverpool background to become a true legend in entertainment. It is difficult to think that she will never grace our TV screens again. She will be sadly missed.”
Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson said: “It was very sad news to hear of the death of Cilla. An incredible talent whose warmth shone through in everything she did. A star in the truest sense of the word, she will be sorely missed by her legions of fans and by all of us here in her home city, Liverpool.”
