Cabaret and bingo at the Florrie

Residents from across Liverpool are invited to have a fun evening playing bingo and enjoying Cabaret Performances in The Florrie’s Grand Hall on Friday 28th August from 6pm.

The evening has been supported by Mayoral Lead for Older People, Councillor Gerard Woodhouse and the Riverside  councillors to provide community activities for older people in South Liverpool.

Local Councillor Steve Munby said “The Florrie is a fantastic building and resource, once left in ruins, it’s now great to see it busy with activities and events that bring the community together.”

Councillor Gerard Woodhouse added “It’s been great to support this event, it’s really important for people’s health and wellbeing to get out and about, meet new people and get involved in activities, and it really does make a big difference.”

The evening includes games of bingo, a raffle, supper and Cabaret Performances from popular performer, Abby Lee.

Community groups can apply for complimentary tickets by calling Rachael at The Florrie on 0151 728 2323

Weekly bingo takes place on Monday afternoons 2pm – 4pm and Wednesday evenings 7pm – 10pm at The Florrie, 377 Mill Street, Liverpool L8 4RF
