Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson has today made changes to his Cabinet following the resignation of Deputy Mayor and Cabinet member for Finance, Councillor Paul Brant.
The Riverside councillor stepped down earlier this week for personal reasons.
With immediate effect, Assistant Mayor, Councillor Roz Gladden (pictured), becomes Deputy Mayor.
And Councillors Ann O’Byrne (Cabinet member for housing) and Wendy Simon (Cabinet member for leisure and culture) will become Assistant Mayors, supporting the Mayor with his priorities.
Mayor Anderson will take responsibility for finance.
