It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Hunts Cross…
On Wednesday 30 November the Hunts Cross Christmas Tree lights will be switched on by local Councillors Rachael O’Byrne and Sharon Connor with the help of Hunts Cross Primary School Choir while Father Christmas is expected to make an appearance.
The Christmas event will once again take place in the community garden on Speke Road from 2pm and will feature Hunts Cross Primary School choir singing carols, Father Christmas will be giving out treats and Councillors Connor and O’Byrne will be serving hot chocolate and mince pies!
Councillor O’Byrne said: “We look forward to celebrating the festive season every year in Hunts Cross when we switch our Christmas tree lights on and Hunts Cross Primary School Choir perform! This year is going to be another brilliant event and we hope lots of residents come and join us!”
The event and Christmas Tree are funded by the Councillors’ Neighbourhood Fund and it is supported by Hunts Cross Primary School, Garston Rotary Club, Niblock Butchers, Hunts Cross Co-operative Supermarket, St Columba’s Church, St Hilda’s Church and Merseyside Police.
