The Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Councillor Tony Concepcion, officially opened the city’s Christmas market.
Now in its 11th year the market has more than 40 decorated wooden chalets selling festive crafts and gifts from all over Europe.
The stallholders have brought a variety of festive arts and crafts, decorations and jewellery to accompany with the licensed bar selling Glühwein, German beers and other seasonal specialities such as bratwurst and crepes.
The market runs until 22 December.
