Banks Road Primary School, Banks Road, Garston, is closed, with immediate effect, until Monday 18 November, for the purposes of infection control.
A number of people at the school have fallen ill with a sickness virus, so the decision has been taken to close the school to ensure the well being of pupils and staff.
Parents have been notified of the situation through the school’s text service and will be kept updated. Staff will also be available at the school, from the morning of Thursday 14 November, to answer any telephone calls from parents.
The school will remain closed on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 November. It is expected that it will re-open to pupils on Monday 18 November.
