Clubmoor got into the festive mood with their annual Christmas event at Broadway Shops.
The event was co-ordinated by the council’s localities team and Clubmoor Ward Councillors and supported by Liverpool Mutual Homes (LMH), Merseyside Police (including Robbie the Bobby as Santa), the Local Co-operative Store and Greggs the Bakers.
Despite it being a wet evening, around 500 people turned up and 148 children visited Santa
There was also a lantern making workshop to bring the local trees to life, Christmas street lights were erected and there was entertainment from a drumming group, flamenco dancers and an accordion vocalist plus Jack Frost stiltwalkers.
Local Councillor Irene Rainey said: “This was a great event to get the local community into the Christmas spirit and it was great to see so many people turn out on what was a very wet evening.”
