Young and not-so-young have been joining in the Christmas celebrations in Clubmoor.
A successful older residents’ Christmas Party was hosted by Norris Green Youth Centre. This was funded by the ward councillors, Irene Rainey, James Noakes and Roz Gladden, Mayoral Neighbourhood Fund with support from Liverpool Mutual Homes.
The Fund also paid for 15 foot Christmas tree at the front of the Centre which has been decorated by young people, and staff from the Centre. And as part of the Christmas celebrations the youngsters have been singing carols by the tree.
Councillor Rainey said: “Clubmoor is really in a Christmas mood and we have tried to engage all the community in the celebrations –whether at a party or simply enjoying the carols by the Christmas tree.”
