Residents, community groups and public services are joining together to make Kensington and Fairfield cleaner, greener and safer.
A day of action to carry out improvements in the neighbour is to be held on Wednesday 26 September.
It will include litter picking, clearing up grot spots and removing fly-tipped waste. And there will also be crime prevention advice, health promotions and fire safety checks, among other activities.
There will also be an opportunity for local residents to obtain information or raise concerns with representatives Community Health Action Teams, Neighbourhood Teams and other organsistions,
Among the organisations taking part will be the City Council Neighbourhood Teams, Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire and Rescue service, Plus Dane, LHT, Riverside Housing Association, LMH, Your Housing Group and Addaction.
Councillor Steve Munby, cabinet member for neighbourhoods, said; “It is good that the community is coming together to help improve their neighbourhood, Days like this can make a real difference.
“Kensington and Fairfield will look brighter and be safer following this day of action.
