Orrell Park Community Centre marked its 40th anniversary with a party for local residents and volunteers who have run activities and events over the years.
The centre is at the heart of the local community and offers a wide range of leisure and social activities to the Warbreck community including adult education, informal learning, exercise classes, a youth club as well as on- off events such as health/wellbeing activities, womens events and fun days.
Local Councillor Cheryl Harrison, said: “Everyone is so proud of the fantastic work the volunteers put into the centre every day and their passion to continue this great work is inspiring. We all hope that the centre will continue for the next 40 years and beyond.”
