Volunteers are to give their neighbourhood a clean-up this weekend, with support for the city council.
The Jericho Lane and Otterspool Residents’ Association have organised the community clean-up at Jericho Lane, on the opposite side to Otterspool Park on Saturday 13 December from 10am to 12.30pm.
It will involve a litter pick and trimming back branches on trees.
Local Councillor Andrew Foxley (pictured with Councillors Patrick Hurley and Emily Spurrell) said: “This is the latest community clean-up in this area and it’s great that local people are showing pride in their neighbourhood. The council will be supporting their efforts by providing equipment and vehicles and by working together we can make a real improvement
