A community planting day is taking place on Saturday 26th March in Hunts Cross Community Garden off Speke Road.
From 10am to 11am residents can join in with planting up the flower beds and new wooden barrels.
Children are welcome to attend but must be supervised by an appropriate adult at all times. Little helpers will receive a special Easter gift on the day!
The event is part of the Hunts Cross Community Engagement Group, a new project that brings together local councillors, residents and businesses to take part in community clean ups and events, making Hunts Cross a more vibrant place to live and work.
Councillor Rachael O’Byrne said ” As the ward Councillors we have been delighted with the enthusiastic response we’ve had to our community events, over the next year we hope this will go from strength to strength with even more people getting involved. If you would like to get involved join us at the Hunts Cross community garden on the last Saturday of every month at 10am.”
