A maze of brilliant workshops and interactive games is coming to the catacombs and galleries in one of Liverpool’s most iconic buildings this Easter half term.
The Craft Mine will take place at the city’s St George’s Hall from Tuesday 7th – Saturday 11th April and Tuesday 14th – Friday 17th April .
A mine of innovative craft activities, The Craft Mine is a maze of workshops and games to entertain kids of all ages, digging into creativity and building memories. Explore the maze to find the amethyst mine, lapis lazuli mine, and salt mines, all packed with activities, from building giant origami to creating digital graffiti and poster stencilling, character cubeez making to caricature classes and optical illusions.
Disney Frozen fans will love the Frozen cave, where they can design beautiful craft and jewellery with Elsa and Anna and in the incredible Catacomb caves, Minecraft, Pacman and Mario game offs and competitions will be held on giant screens.
Each child will receive a free Craft Mine rucksack to fill with the arts, crafts and treats they create and collect on their adventure. The event will also feature a gem stone treasure hunt for all the family, linking to Liverpool museums, and ticket holders will receive a money off voucher for cafes and restaurants around the city. Activities cater to different age levels from 5-14, with chill out zones and healthy refreshment kiosks mapped within the “mine”.

Tickets are available to purchase in advance from TicketQuarter. A child’s ticket is priced at £10, with one free adult accompanying up to 3 children, and extra adult tickets at £3. Tickets are limited for each session, so book early to avoid disappointment.
