Dog wellbeing action day

Want to know how to keep your dog happy, health, safe and active? come along to a health and wellbeing action day being held this November.

In partnership with Liverpool City Council, Liverpool Mutual Homes will be holding the informative action day on Tuesday 4th November from 11am-3pm at LMH Clubmoor Community Centre, Townsend Lane, L13 9DY.

The following services will be offered on the day:

Advice on the 5 welfare needs of dogs (environment, diet, behaviour, companionship & health). These are commonly known as the ‘5 freedoms’ and are part of the Animal Welfare Act which is a piece of legislation all pet owners must abide by.

During the day dog owners will be advised on how to keep dogs safe on Bonfire night.

There will also be micro chipping available for dogs over 12 weeks old (they must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or over), free dog health MOTs, preventive procedures such as bull breed and neutering vouchers and vaccination advice.
