All bin collections services in Liverpool will continue as normal over the Easter Bank holiday.
Unlike in previous years householders are being asked to leave bins out on the same day as they normally would.
Councillor Steve Munby, cabinet member for neighbourhoods, said: “Now that we have established the new company Liverpool Streetscene Services, we have greater flexibility in the way we operate.
“It will be easier for householders if they leave their bins out on the same day as they normally would and we would ask them to do that.”
