ALLERTON Farmers’ Market will have a new home from this week-end.
The market, which is held on the third Saturday of every month, is moving from its location at Allerton Road Library to a new permanent site next to the former Odeon Cinema at the junction of Garthdale and Allerton Road.
Stall holders will be trading on 16 August from 9am to 1pm.
The move follows a survey from market users , traders and local shops which found overwhelming support for the new location.
The new market home will be officially opened by the Lord Mayor, Councillor Erica Kemp, at its next market day on 20 September.
