First-time buyers show

First-time buyers looking to take the plunge in 2013 will be glad of all the advice on offer at this year’s First Time Buyers Show to be held at the BT Convention Centre part of ACC Liverpool.

The event is aimed at offering free, impartial advice to first time buyers and answering all the burning questions that those looking to get on to the property ladder might have.

Swedish home giants IKEA are sponsoring the show and have also taken out a stand at the event which is hosted by HomesHub.

First time buyers attending the show will get access to first-rate design advice courtesy of IKEA and the Swedish retailer will also be offering one lucky attendee at the show £1,000 to spend at IKEA.

Sarah Walmsley, local marketing manager at IKEA Warrington says: “We’re looking forward to being in Liverpool city centre and in a larger exhibition space this year round for the show. We know that whilst buying your first home can be exciting it can also be hard work and expensive.

“This £1,000 prize will really help a first time buyer at the show kit out their new home and we’re really looking forward to the draw and the event.”

Legal specialists, Paul Crowley & Co Solicitors are also the proud sponsors of a legal seminar for first time buyers at the event for the second year running.

Legal gurus will guide hopeful buyers through the legal implications and responsibilities of taking their first step onto the property ladder, including basic requirements and often forgotten areas such as wills and power of attorney.

Tracy Thompson, practice development manager at Paul Crowley & Co says: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the legal seminar at the First Time Buyers Show again. The show is a great event for first time buyers who are looking for accessible information, practical advice and buyer tips.”

“Buying your first home can be daunting and buyers will often feel overwhelmed by the legal jargon and what feels like a never-ending list of requirements. Our free legal master class will guide buyers through each stage of the process in plain English, preparing them for the journey ahead and helping them to feel secure about buying their first home.”

The show features a host of big names including Riverside Home Ownership, Barratt Homes, Countryside Properties and David Wilson Homes.

The First Time Buyers Show takes place on Saturday 23 March from 10am till 4pm at the BT Convention Centre. Free tickets can be downloaded at www.firsttimebuyersshow.com or contact Jo Tait on 0151 709 3871 for more information.
