The Flowers estate in Warbreck is looking cleaner and greener thanks to a community impact day.
Community skips provided by local councillors were well used to clear waste and litter.
The events included a barbecue and children having great time in the play area and on the bouncy castle.
Every resident was given a planter of flowers to brighten up the neighbourhood.
Councillor Ann O’Byrne said: “This event is always a highlight of the summer and the weather was beautiful all day making the event a great success.
“The Flowers residents group do so much in the community from crafts nights for the younger children to computer classes for adults and lots of events throughout the year so its always great to come along and join in the fun.”
