Councillors from the St Michaels ward have organised two Family Forest School sessions in Sefton Park for children aged 4 to 9 and their parents.
Taking place on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 August, they will be run by experienced Forest School Leaders from Courgette in the City and St Michael-in-the-Hamlet Primary School and will provide a great opportunity to actively spend time outdoors and close to nature.
Activities will include: cooking over an open camp fire, arts and crafts using natural materials, den building and many others.
The sessions will take place no matter what the weather, so please dress appropriately, wellies are ideal for children, and we recommend long trousers and sleeves.
They will run from 1pm to 3.30pm and are likely to book up quickly, so please secure place by emailing Councillor Anna Key – anna.key@liverpool.gov.uk. More information regarding a meeting place in the park will be provided once your place has been booked.
