Family Forest School sessions and activities at Merseyside Youth Trust are taking place this Easter Half Term.
Councillors Rachael O’Byrne and Sharon Connor have funded the activities from their Neighbourhood Fund to provide fun, educational and creative outdoor activities for families in Allerton and Hunts Cross during the school holidays.
Family Forest School is for 4 to 11 year olds, the sessions include mini beast hunts, games, forest art, campfires and marshmallow toasting.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and wearing long sleeves, trousers plus wellies!
The free sessions will be taking place on:
Wednesday 12th April – 11am to 1pm
Thursday 13th April – 11am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 3.30pm

There are also free places for children and young people at Merseyside Youth Challenge Trust
The fun outdoor activities are for 8 to 14 year olds and range from abseiling to archery lessons.
The sessions will be taking place on:
Tuesday 11th April – 9am to 4pm
Wednesday 12th April – 9am to 4pm
Wednesday 19th April – 9am to 4pm
Thursday 20th April – 9am to 4pm
