A social enterprise that works to animate Stanley Park, in North Liverpool, is running a number of free weekly activities for people to socialise with friends, family and neighbours in the beautiful surroundings of the Grade II listed park.
From yoga to running for beginners to a gardening group there will be something for everyone to get involved in.
Gemma McGowan, the Managing Director of the Isla Gladstone, set up Stanley Park CIC this year to promote fun days, host real life social networks, sports activities for all and work to improve the local environment.
Gemma said “Stanley Park is a beautiful space in the heart of North Liverpool, we want this to be a community hub for people to meet, chat and enjoy spending time in the outdoors.”
