Hundreds of local people turned out for a fun day in Warbreck.
The Rice Lane Residents Group, supported by Liverpool city council, LMH, LHT, Riverside, the fire service, local police and Sainsbury’s, held its annual fun organised the annual event
More than 500 residents enjoyed an amazing inflatable assault course, gladiator battle ground, train, stalls selling homemade pies, cakes and crafts, juice bar and much more – on a glorious summer day.
The fun day was opened by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Tony Concepcion accompanied by the Lady Mayoress.
Local Councillor Cheryl Harrison, said: ” It is fantastic for residents to get involved in their community and put so much into their area for the benefit of everyone so special thanks goes to Karen Edwards, secretary of the Residents Group who co-ordinated the day and helped organised the event from start to finish. .
“Here’s to many more great local events in Warbreck!”
