Get your LIMF Pier Head tickets NOW!

With just days to go until Liverpool’s Pier Head plays host to some of the biggest names in pop – people planning to attend are being urged to buy their tickets NOW!

As part of the inaugural Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF), thousands are set to descend on the waterfront on Saturday 24 August and Sunday 25 August for Turn Up the Radio and Party at the Pier.

Although some tickets will be available on the day, organisers are urging people to purchase them in advance to minimise queues.

On Saturday 24 August, headliners JLS being joined by acts including Little Mix, Union J, Stooshe, The Vamps and Eliza Doolittle.

On Sunday 25 August, the Juice FM stage will play host to well-known artists including The Saturdays, Texas and Nina Nesbitt. They will perform alongside local stars including KOF, Esco Williams, The Hummingbirds and Chelcee Grimes as well as leading Queen tribute act Dios Salve a la Reina. There will also be a Mathew Street Festival Stage with Real Radio (programmed by Bill Heckle and Dave Jones from Cavern City Tours) with acts paying homage to artists such as Adele, Robbie Williams and The Rolling Stones.

Claire McColgan, Director of Culture Liverpool, said: “LIMF has caught the imagination of the people, and we’ve already sold thousands of tickets for the Pier Head concerts. But we want to make sure people aren’t left disappointed, so if you’re planning to come and haven’t got tickets already, then the advice is to get them as soon as you can.

“Party at the Pier and Turn up the Radio are set to be among the highlights of the first ever Liverpool International Music Festival. For the cost of admission, we are putting on a full day of entertainment with some of the biggest acts around in a stunning location.”

Yaw Owusu, music curator of LIMF, added: “All of the acts are really looking forward to playing Liverpool because they know that the audiences are absolutely fantastic.”

Tickets for Turn Up the Radio cost from £22.50 per person including booking fee.

Tickets for Party at the Pier cost from £5 per person.
