Liverpool’s Lovehistory and Larkin’s Farm are preparing a magical Grotto experience at Croxteth Hall Farm this Christmas season, offering a truly interactive and theatrical event – with plenty of fun for the whole family.
Opening from Friday 28 November – Tuesday 23 December, the farm at Croxteth Hall will be transformed in to a magical world of twinkling displays and festive delights
Activities include an Animal Farm Tour, Santa’s Workshop and Christmas Grotto with a free toy from Santa for every child, which is all included in the one ticket price.
There will be a wonderful festive Christmas atmosphere awaiting visitors, where Santa’s elves will be welcoming families and taking them on a delightfully animated guided tour of the farm. Children will get the chance to see all the animals including the little piglets at play, the billy goats grazing and the little donkey silently guarding the enchanting Nativity Scene, plus many more.
Children are then invited to join all the elves in Santa’s workshop in a dedicated arts and crafts area, where they will have the chance to get creative and make their very own festive Christmas decorations.
If all that excitement wasn’t enough, to end the experience children can then visit the magical Grotto where Santa will be waiting to greet them, and all the children who have been good all year on Santa’s nice list, will receive a toy from Santa as an early Christmas present.
The farm is open from 10am – 5pm (last entry 4pm) with tickets priced at just £10 per child and up to 2 adults go free. The price for additional accompanying adults is £3.50.
Lovehistory’s Judy McLean said: “We are delighted to be working on this collaboration with Larkin’s Farm, who has recently taken over the running of the Croxteth Farm and are very keen to create an animated and magical experience for the children.
We want to offer an experience for the whole family. There will be lots of little elves and other famous festive characters interacting with the children, a dedicated arts and crafts area and to make the experience extra special the elves will guide the families around the farm area to see the range of animals. This will be the start of lots of animated events at the farm and we are all very excited about it.”
