Dog owners have the chance to have their pets microchipped for free this weekend.
In an event, organised by Belle Vale councillors the Dogs Trust will be carrying out the chipping at St Cyril’s in Southbrook Way (off Naylorsfield Drive), Liverpool 27, on Saturday 19 March 10am to 12 noon,
Councillor Pauline Walton said: “The Dogs Trust is providing this service for all dog owners. This is a great opportunity to make sure that your dog is chipped before new legislation come in in April. This requires all dogs to be chipped – so take this opportunity to make sure your pet complies with the law.”
Puppies must be vaccinated, and should be carried. Car parking is available in Southbrook Way, just 50 yards from St Cyril’s.”
