The full musical line-up performing at In Conversation With Ricky Tomlinson, which takes place at 7.30pm onWednesday 4 March atSt George’s Hall, has been announced by Little Atom Productions.
Joining country legend CharlieLandsborough to perform Ricky’s five favourite pieces of music will be Bootle-born soprano Rachael Russell, female ukulele duo The Mersey Belles, singer songwriter Sam Westhead and the twenty-strong Formby Brass Band.
Ricky is the twelfth guest in the special series and as always with the successful and well-loved In Conversation format the special guest is asked in advance of the event to choose their five pieces of music. The song choices are kept a tightly guarded secret until the evening when they are then performed live on the night by five separate Liverpool musical acts, interspersing and enhancing the on stage interview.
In Conversation Co-Producer Gemma Aldcroft said: “Ricky has chosen some absolutely brilliant numbers, and as you can probably tell from the line-up, it’s an unusual mix! It’s not every day you get a bill including a soprano and a ukulele duo at the same event!”
The acting and entertainment legend Ricky Tomlinson will be interviewed by Mike Neary on Wednesday 4 March in the Concert Room of St George’s Hall from 7.30pm (7pm Doors).
