Liverpool City Council’s Business Support Service is inviting entrepreneurs and business owners to a drop-in session at Sips & Stories on Thursday 18 September.
Attendees can discover a range of free services designed to help start up and grow businesses in Liverpool, including:
- Business Growth Workshops: free workshops for all Liverpool companies covering strategic planning and other critical topics.
- Start-Up Support: essential workshops plus access to an online hub with templates and resources for new businesses.
- Specialist Advice: fully funded, one-to-one expertise in marketing, bidding, HR, lean operations, strategic planning and exporting for eligible firms.
This event also celebrates the launch of the new Liverpool European Partnership Business Network. The session will showcase local European entrepreneurs and encourage the Liverpool community to support independent businesses.
Sips & Stories, a specialty coffee shop founded earlier this year by Greek entrepreneurs Anestis Gaitanidis and Dimitrios Samaras, will host the event at 266a Smithdown Road, Liverpool L15 5AH.
“We reached out to the Business Support Service at Liverpool City Council ourselves to see what help was available to us as a new business operating in the current difficult economic climate.
“It’s so important for entrepreneurs to be able to access guidance and advice, so we’re delighted to be able to host the Council’s team at our venue and welcome in local residents & businesses to explore the support available,” said Dimitrios Samaras.
“As Greek entrepreneurs running a business in Liverpool, it was great to hear from the Council about the new Liverpool European Partnership Business Network. There are many fellow Europeans who have made Liverpool their home and are growing their businesses in this fantastic city – so I’m sure there will be lots of interest in this new network,” added Anestis Gaitanidis.
This drop-in session is open to all Liverpool residents and businesses. No booking is required, though attendees are encouraged to register via Eventbrite to confirm their place.
