A temporary Bring Bank which will accept household recyclable items is to operate between 2 January and 6 March.
The facility is located at the Fruit and Vegetable Market accessed off Prescot Road and will be open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 10.00am to 2.00pm. It will accept the following items:
- Paper
- Cardboard
- Cans
- Glass bottles and jars
- Textiles and clothes
- Plastic bottles
- Rigid plastics
The site will allow residents to deliver their own household waste by car, with pedestrian access also accepted. No commercial vehicles including vans and large trailers can access this service.
The site will not accept any material that isn’t on the above list, and will not accept trade or commercial waste.
