The Lord Mayor of Liverpool Cllr Gary Millar was the first to meet and greet the Easter Bunny ahead of the Easter Bunny Parade at St Georges Hall which opens on Saturday.
The new Easter Grotto experience will run until Monday 21st April 2014.
The Easter Bunny Parade is an enchanting Easter holiday treat for the whole family to enjoy, it sees a walk-through trail created within the hall and transformed into Easter Bunny Land. On route the parade is filled with over seventeen delightful animatronic fairy-tale scenes telling an enchanting Easter story and will lead the way to the finale. At the end of the tour each child will meet and have their photographer taken with the magical Easter Bunny and will also each receive a FREE chocolate Easter egg.
The Lord Mayor of Liverpool Cllr Gary Millar said “This is a really exciting new initiative from St Georges Hall which is going to delight children over the Easter period, I have had the chance to have a sneak preview of the trail of the Easter Bunny Parade and it is an incredibly cute attraction.”
The organisers have also included a themed interactive activity to keep the children fully entertained during their time in the hall, including a game to find out the names of some of the characters along the route. The announcement of this new event comes following a hugely successful Christmas Grotto which took place over the festive period, which attracted thousands of visitors.
Alan Smith, General Manager at St George’s Hall said: “We are looking to build on the amazing success of the Christmas Grotto, St George’s Hall is delighted to present the Easter Bunny Parade.
Based in the new galleries of the heritage centre, the hall offers the opportunity for young visitors to come and meet the Easter Bunny in one of the most iconic buildings in their city. They will have an early opportunity to be up close to the amazing history of their city, whilst having lots of fun along the way.”
Tickets are available to purchase on the day at St George’s Hall Heritage Centre, with a child’s ticket priced at £6 each and with accompanying adults going free, this is a perfect Easter treat for the whole family to enjoy.
