A year of activities in Clubmoor is featured in a new calendar.
It highlights teams, clubs and organisations from the local community and some of the events they have staged.
Among the activities featured are the Immense Community’s group ‘s production of the Lion King; tournament successes by the Farmer Junior Football Club; including flower planting and health promotions at Norris Green and Clubmoor Youth Clubs during the summer and a day out for older residents.
All of these events had funding contributions from the Mayoral Neighbourhood Fund of the ward councillors, Irene Rainey, James Noakes and Roz Gladden.

Councillor Rainey said: “We have a vibrant community in Clubmoor and the calendar is a great way of demonstrating what they contribute. We hope that it will encourage more events and activities in the ward in the coming year.
“And we have also taken the opportunity to use the calendar to encourage more people in Clubmoor to recycle.”
The calendars, which were also funded through the Neighbourhood Fund, have been distributed to local schools, churches and community organisations. It was produced by Liverpool company Wordscape.
