New Cabinet Member for Adult Social Services appointed

Councillor Angela Coleman has been appointed as Cabinet Member for Adult Social Services at Liverpool City Council.

Cllr Coleman, a former nurse who was elected to the Council in 2018, takes up the role previously occupied by Cllr Frazer Lake, who is stepping down as a Councillor to take up a role with a Trade Union.

Leader of Liverpool City Council, Cllr Liam Robinson, said: “I am delighted to welcome Cllr Coleman to the Cabinet, taking on an extremely important role.

“Adult Social Services supports thousands of people across the city, helping them continue to live independent lives as they get older.

“As a former nurse, she will bring invaluable and relevant experience to the role and I look forward to working closely with her.”
