This half term keep the kids entertained at Liverpool ONE.

With over 160 retailers, a wide range of restaurants and cafes, 14 screen cinema, indoor adventure golf course and events throughout the style district there’s something to keep everyone amused.

Sporting Bears Dream Rides, Custom House Place
Saturday 20th October
Visitors to Liverpool ONE can get up close and personal to various luxury and fast cars at a display organised by a group of classic and sports car enthusiasts. Sporting Bears Motor Club host the Dream Rides to raise money for a children’s charity. For a donation to Claire House Children’s Hospice at the event members of the public can experience a ride in one of the cars.

Since the Sporting Bears Motor Club was formed in 1989 they have raised over £950,000 for various children’s charities in the UK through social and touring events.

City Hearts Flash Mob, Paradise Street
Saturday 20th October
At 2pm 80 dancers will burst into life at Liverpool ONE to celebrate the freedom of over 2000 slaves who have been freed from exploitation in the UK this year. It is organised by City Hearts, an initiative of Hope City Enterprise, which helps disadvantaged people from all backgrounds. For more information please see

The One-Man show with Laurence Payot, South John Street
Part of Liverpool Biennial
Saturday 27th October
Artist Laurence Payot is inviting both children and adults to be part of a piece of artwork for Liverpool Biennial 2012. Visitors are invited to pose for a single frame in a video. Each participant will add another frame adding to a growing stop-motion video.

Joint winners of new artist of the year twins Chris and Steve Rocks present an exclusive collection of their highly sought-after original paintings. Images inspired by the lie of the land – the contours and colours rather than the literal details of the scene – will be unveiled between 1 – 3pm.
