Schools, Children’s Centres and Nursery Groups in North Liverpool will now be able to hire play equipment in Stanley Park.
A Joint project between Your Housing Group and the Isla Gladstone will see toys including bats, sponge balls, skipping ropes, stilts, beans bags, hula hoops, a parachute and much more all available for hire for local play groups.
Gemma McGowan Managing Director of the Isla Gladstone said “It’s always fantastic to see lots of children playing in Stanley Park, the investment of these toys for schools, Children’s Centres and local community groups will mean even more children will be coming into the park throughout the day.”
Councillor Nick Small Cabinet Member for Employment, Education and Skills said “Learning through play in early years’ education is a great way for children to develop their problem solving skills, communication and imagination so it’s fantastic to see Stanley Park leading on this innovative project.”
The play equipment is free to hire for schools, Children’s Centres and registered nursery groups to use in the park. If your group would like to register for the scheme or find out more email firstname.lastname@example.org
