Good news for golfers – pitch and putt is returning to Newham Park from tomorrow (Saturday 22 August).
Following a successful trial last year, the City Council working in partnership with Glendale Liverpool , is provided a 9-hole pitch and putt area next to the Park’s Café.
Golf clubs and golf balls can be obtained via the café operator.
The pitch and putt area will be available until September.
Mayoral Lead for Sport Councillor Tim Moore said “We are keen to animate our parks and to provide facilities that will enable people to take part in physical activity and sport. This is a great opportunity for families to take part in a fun activity in their local park”
