Problems with emails to our Contact Centre

We’ve recently found out that we have a software glitch at our Contact Centre, which is affecting some emails sent to us via a small number of online forms on our website and direct via contactus@liverpool.gov.uk

We apologise for this and we want you to know that we are working hard to fix the problem.

If residents/customers need to contact the council with an enquiry, you can do so on our website – www.liverpool.gov.uk  – or call our contact centre.

Lines are open from Monday-Friday, 8am until 6pm:

  • General enquiries, 233 3000
  • Revenues, 233 3008
  • Benefits, 233 3009
  • Registrars, 233 3004
  • Street scene (bins, pest control, street lighting), 233 3001

Alternatively, you can direct message us via our social media channels – on Facebook or Twitter.

If you have a smartphone, you can book a video appointment with an adviser for help with benefits and council tax issues. Please see our website for more details on booking.

Finally, you may prefer to pop into one of our One Stop Shops. Find their location and opening times on our website.

Thank you for your patience.
