Pupils’ designs on recycling

Pupils from Four Oaks Primary school, Everton, have got designs on recycling…

They have been designing stickers to promote recycling and at a special assembly prizes were handed out for the winning designs.

Ellie Byers, who now attends the North Liverpool Academy took the top prize and there were runners-up prizes for Luke Stowbridge-Ryan and Michael Lee.

Representatives from Keep Britain Tidy attended the assembly to talk about the importance of recycling.

Ellie’s winning design has now been put on free indoor recycling bins

Councillor Jane Corbett cabinet member for children’s services attended the assembly with fellow ward Councillor Frank Prendergast. She said: “It is great that pupils are encouraging recycling and their designs show that we have a lot of very creative and talented young people in our city.”
