Ranelagh Street bus gate suspended

UPDATE 19/8/23: The work has been completed and the bus gate is operational again

Ranelagh Street bus gate will be suspended for up to nine days from Monday 14 August.

It is to allow Scottish Power to replace an electricity link box in the carriageway.

Liverpool City Council is also using it as an opportunity to carry out urgent remedial repairs, such as filling pot holes.

Traffic will be able to travel along Ranelagh Street in the direction of the waterfront.

The outbound lane on Hanover Street will be closed at Gradwell Street (expect for access), with a diversion via Duke Street.

Letters have been delivered to residents and businesses in the area informing them of the work, and signage has been placed on the highway.
