Changes over the festive period will affect refuse and recycling collections from Friday 25 December until Friday 8 January.
During this period collections will take place a day later. This is except for those which normally take place on Friday 25 December which will be collected on Monday 28 December, and Thursday 31 December which will be collected on Saturday 2 January.

Stickers explaining the changes to the collections have been placed on bins by refuse crews.

Due to low demand, the green bin service has been suspended until Monday 15 February 2016. This will enable the crews to carry out other tasks which are needed.
People will also be able to recycle Christmas Trees at 12 sites across the city:
