Rice Lane residents group held their annual Summer spectacular this year that included an incredible music festival full of local talent.
Hundreds of residents joined Lord Mayor Councillor Malcolm Kennedy and ward councillors on the day to see the community coming together, having lots of fun and being entertained by singer songwriters, fire eaters, dancers, martial arts experts, football skills and amazing acrobats.
There were also fair rides, giant slides, a bucking bronco and time to chill out in the digital games zone.
The artisan market and food stalls were a great success alongside the opportunity for people to learn how to cook and then eat their own concoctions!
Local councillor Cheryl Didsbury said: “This community always gets behind the events that take place and this year has been bigger and better than ever!
“It was great to have the Lord Mayor join us and see how much fun people of all ages were having on the day, he got right into the spirit of the event and even had time for a massage. He left our event full of joy and fully refreshed!”
