The Roadpeace memorial in St John's Gardens

Road crash victims remembered at service

Families of those killed on the road have taken part in an online remembrance event in Liverpool city centre.

It was broadcast on the 23rd anniversary of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales and featured a tribute from Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Councillor Anna Rothery, in St John’s Gardens.

The service usually takes place in the Lady Chapel of Liverpool Cathedral, but due to the pandemic took place online.

During the service, photographs of loved ones who have died in road crashes were shown.
