Parents of primary school pupils living in Toxteth, Dingle and Wavertree are being urged to find out more about the secondary school options in the area for admission in September 2018.
It is being held at St Hugh’s Catholic Primary School on Earle Road from 2pm – 5pm on Tuesday 11th July, and the following schools will be in attendance:
St Julie’s
St Francis of Assisi Academy
Holly Lodge
Archbishop Blanch
King’s Leadership Academy
St Hilda’s
Councillor Nick Small, Assistant Mayor of Liverpool and Cabinet Member for Schools and Education, said: “We’re organising this event so that parents of year 6 children living in L8, L7 and L15 can get the widest possible choice of secondary school for their child in 2018.
“This year we’ve let parents express preferences for 5, rather than 3 schools to give parents more choice. Parents will be able to speak to teachers from secondary schools from around the whole city to find our what they offer, including single-sex schools, community schools and faith schools.”
