People living in Liverpool neighbourhoods are being invited to join a service which will provide them with up-to-date information about crime and other issues in their communities.
The Liverpool North Community Messaging Service is available to residents in the Knotty Ash, Yew Tree (Liverpool 14) and West Derby (Liverpool,12) wards,
It is a free service in which residents are informed by text or e-mail about local crime issues, information, activities, and opportunities in the neighborhoods where they live.
The City Council, Merseyside Police, Registered Social Landlords and ward councillors are committed to improving communication in their communities and this service is a key element in this.
If you are interested in signing up for the service, please call the City Council Neighbourhood Team on 0151 233 5757 or your local Police Team on 0151 777 4441 and arrangements will be made for someone to visit and sign you up.
