People living in Liverpool neighbourhoods are being invited to join a service which will provide them with up-to-date information about crime and other issues in their communities.
The Liverpool North Community Messaging Service is available to residents in the Knotty Ash, Yew Tree (Liverpool 14) and West Derby (Liverpool,12) wards,
It is a free service in which residents are informed by text or e-mail about local crime issues, information, activities, and opportunities in the neighborhoods where they live.
The City Council, Merseyside Police, Registered Social Landlords and ward councillors are committed to improving communication in their communities and this service is a key element in this.
