There will be a temporary closure of Speke Road during evening hours, from Monday 19 March for up to 4 nights.
The road closure is required to allow for carriageway resurfacing in association with the new pedestrian crossing facility. In addition to these works, Liverpool City Council will also be undertaking carriageway patching further along Speke Road.
The road closures are planned to commence at 20.00hrs each night and be removed before 06.00hrs the following morning.
Cllr Steve Munby, cabinet member for Highways and City Services, said: “The works on Speke Road are part of essential maintenance work in the area. This is a major route from Liverpool John Lennon Airport into the city and beyond, for many types of transport, including residents, tourists and international businesses “
