Stanley Park has launched a winter programme of outdoor activities for all.
Stanley Park CIC is a social enterprise based in North Liverpool that works to empower people to improve their health and wellbeing as well as making the park a vibrant space that people feel welcome, safe and happy in.
From yoga to running for beginners to a gardening group there will be an activity for everyone to get involved in.
Gemma McGowan, the Managing Director of the Isla Gladstone and Chair of Stanley Park CIC said “Following the success of our events and activities in 2016 we’re excited to launch our new winter Real Life Social Networks for people to meet, chat and spend time in our beautiful park.”
Free Weekly Activities in Stanley Park:
Yoga & Mindfulness @ Isla Gladstone Bandstand
Wrap up warm for winter yoga and mindfulness in Stanley Park with Positivity Inc. followed by a hot drink.
Pram Walks @ Isla Gladstone Bandstand
Take a leisurely stroll around the park, feed the ducks, plays games then chat to other parents and carers over a cup of coffee.

Wednesdays, 10:30am-12 Noon
Running for Beginners Club @ The Isla Gladstone Bandstand
A fun and friendly Couch to 5K running group, all abilities welcome for 14 years+
junior parkrun @ The Formal Terraces
A free 2K timed race for 4 to 14 year olds. Register online: parkrun.org.uk/events/juniorevents Sundays, 9am-9:45am
Fun, creative yoga classes for 4-14 year olds with Positivity Inc.
