Stanley Park Market will host a free Family Fun Day on Wednesday 29 July, from 11am to 3pm.
The event will celebrate the vibrant community market and provide free activities for families and residents of all ages – bringing together local organisations, community groups, and services alongside regular market traders.
Visitors can browse the market stalls, meet local organisations, and enjoy a range of free activities and entertainment provided by 0151 Entertainments – including a land train, inflatables, face painting, party games, and a live DJ.
There will also be cycling activities from Cycling UK, a children’s activity area hosted by the Anfield and Everton Family Hub, a Story Corner from the National Literacy Trust, health and wellbeing advice, bike marking, health checks, and information from a range of local partners including housing providers, adult social care, social prescribers, disability support services, and Merseyside Police.
The event is free to attend, and everyone is welcome.
Cllr Harry Doyle, Liverpool City Council’s Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Culture, said: “Our community markets play an important role in bringing people together, supporting local traders, and creating welcoming spaces for residents.
“This Family Fun Day is a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy everything Stanley Park Market has to offer, while also enjoying free activities and accessing advice and support from a range of organisations working across the city.
“We look forward to welcoming residents for what promises to be a brilliant day for the whole community.”
