A Start of Summer barbecue on Saturday 12 April from 12 noon to 3pm on the former Mobile Library Site in Hunts Cross, off Speke Road.
The event, hosted by the Allerton and Hunts Cross councillors, has been organised to celebrate the opening of the community space for the Summer. The Former Mobile Library site was brought back into use last year by the councillors (the opening is pictured above)
There will be lots of fun activities for the whole family, including Jumping Jacks Children’s Entertainment, face painting, Arts and Crafts workshops run by Hunts Cross Children’s Centre and a free BBQ!
Councillor Rachael O’Byrne said “It’s a great event for the whole community to come together and enjoy the garden, I am sure it will be an enjoyable day for all.”
The event is being supported by St Columba’s Church Hunts Cross, St Hilda’s Church Hunts Cross, Liverpool Mutual Homes, Merseyside Police and Liverpool City Council.
